Heal & Hear the Community®, LLC.

Rachel founded Heal & Hear the Community® in 2021— a multimedia company dedicated to making digital media a more equitable space for Black diasporic people.

Storytelling is a tool for change. Every voice matters, and every story deserves to be told with integrity and care.

Established in 2021

Unearthing truths, reclaiming wellness— because our stories can’t wait.

Heal & Hear the Community is a multimedia company dedicated to preserving and amplifying the stories of Black resilience, healing, and tradition. Through investigative journalism, oral history, and culturally rooted storytelling, we bridge historical narratives with contemporary conversations— ensuring that the wisdom of the past informs our present.

Whether through documentary-style reporting, podcasting, or community-centered media, we create space for voices that have long been silenced, offering organizations and audiences the context, connection, and insight needed to engage meaningfully with history, culture, and collective well-being.

Heal & Hear focuses on

three key areas:

Thoughtful Project Development

We collaborate with studios to build and refine projects that highlight Black communities’ needs in ways that feel safe, non-exploitative, digestible, and urgent.

Education & Misinformation Correction

Through storytelling, we challenge misinformation and provide accurate, nuanced perspectives on the global Black experience.

Production with Purpose

Our projects center Black wellness, a complete and inclusive history, and the ongoing pursuit of civil liberty. We love working on productions that align with our current work.
